The new Erasmus Mundus scholarship campaign for 2021-2023 is now closed !
The deadline for an application for E Mundus scholarships was February 28, 2021. The main lists with selected candidates and the reserve lists of candidates for both categories partner countries and programme countries are available since April 21, 2021 HERE
The candidates have been pseudonymized (under OLAGE ID) on the lists and the lists are not ranked. Only the civility, the country and the result with the OLAGE ID are published. You can find your ID OLAGE on OLAGE website (5 last digits of your file number) to identify yourself in the result lists.
All candidates have received the decision by mail. If you have not received it, please check on your SPAM folder or contact us. If a candidate on main list cancels his application or drops out and you are ranked first in the reserve list, you will be contacted. It means these lists are NOT definitive but the first result of the selection.
The selection for the MSc programme will continue WITHOUT E Mundus scholarship until :
29th of May, 2021 for candidates with Non European citizenships
10th of July 2021, for candidates with European citizenships.
Be careful, the maximum of places (28) is often reached before these deadlines and the campaign may close earlier. We invite you to contact us for more info from May 2021 and after.
Erasmus Mundus Scholarships & its conditions
Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree (EMJMD), is a prestigious, integrated, international study programme, jointly delivered by an international consortium of higher education institutions. The joint Erasmus Mundus Master programme Food IDentity is part of the EMJMD catalogue of the EACEA agency of the European commission. The details of the project can be consulted on the EU website here. The scholarship programme is starting 16/09/2019 and ending 15/09/2025. The joint MSc programme Food ID started in september 2009 and is planned to continue beyond and after the EM scholarship programme.
PLEASE NOTE: applying for the MSc programme Food IDentity through the online system OLAGE does not automatically mean you will have applied to the scholarship Erasmus Mundus. You should ensure that you have correctly answered the following question i:
For the academic year 2020/2021, 13 scholarships for partners countries and 2 scholarships for programme countries are available.
Your elilgibility as candidates from partner or programme countries depending on several factors like your nationality, your country of residence and the time you spent in Europe during the last 5 years. The complete rules of eligibility are available on the Erasmus Plus programme guide on the EACEA website. The scholarship calculation is composed of 1-participation costs, 2-travel and installation costs, 3-Subsistence costs. The total amount is depending on your eligibility on a category or the other (partner or programme countries).
Eligible countries are described here in 2 categories Programme and partner
- Programme Country (EU/EU candidate/EEA and applicants who have lived in a Programme country for more than 12 months over the last 5 years)
- Partner Country (all other applicants)
Your eligibility will be defined based on the information you put on OLAGE system and on your nationality, residency and 12 months rule tab (in EU during the last 5 years) to confirm your category. EMJMD student scholarships can be offered to students from any region of the world – however no more than 2 from the same country or with the same nationality will be awarded in the same intake. The scholarships’ terms depend on the student’s country of origin/residence.
The EMJMD student scholarship includes:
- a contribution to the student participation costs (including tuition fees, full insurance coverage and any other mandatory costs related to the students’ participation in the EMJMD study programme
- a contribution to student travel and installation costs
- a monthly subsistence allowance for the entire duration of the EMJMD study programme

3,000 EUR per year for travel costs + 1,000 EUR for installation costs for a scholarship resident in a Partner country whose location is situated at 4,000 km of more from the EMJMD coordinating HEI

|Contribution to subsistence costs||1,000 EUR per month for the entire duration of the EMJMD study programme (24 months maximum)Contribution to subsistence costs will not be given to scholarship holders for the periods of the EMJMD (study/research/placement/thesis preparation) spent in their country of residence
Contribution to subsistence costs will not be given to Partner country scholarship holders for periods exceeding 3 months spent in any Partner country
Please note: The participation costs for both non-European and European scholarship students cover all tuition fees and health insurance; they do not include accommodation as well as other living expenses and travel.
